Terms of Service

1. Your Account and Responsibilities

1.1 You are responsible for your use of the Services and for all content, listings, reviews, and communications you post or share. You agree to comply with applicable laws, including South Korean e-commerce, consumer-protection, and advertising regulations.

1.2 You may need to register for an account to access certain features. Provide accurate and complete information, keep it current, and protect your password.

1.3 Do not share your login credentials. You are responsible for all activities under your account.

1.4 If you create or manage an account for another entity (e.g., a business, professional service, or organization), you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and all references to "you" apply to that entity.

1.5 To use our Services, you must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).

2. Eligibility

K-Easy serves both foreign nationals and Korean residents currently living in, or connected to, South Korea. By using the Services, you confirm that you:

• Have full legal capacity to enter a binding agreement
• Are not barred under Korean or international sanctions
• Are using the Services for lawful purposes only

3. Use of Services and User Conduct

3.1 You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
• Post misleading, defamatory, or obscene material
• Infringe others' intellectual-property or privacy rights
• Send spam, phishing, or unauthorized advertisements
• Circumvent verification or moderation systems
• Impersonate another individual or entity

3.2 Community and External Groups.
K-Easy hosts and links to user-created communities (KakaoTalk, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.). You join those groups at your own discretion and must comply with their respective rules. K-Easy is not responsible for communications, transactions, or disputes occurring outside the official platform.

3.3 K-Easy may moderate, edit, or remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or its Community Guidelines, without prior notice.

4. User-Generated Content

4.1 You retain ownership of all content, posts, listings, reviews, photos, or media you upload ("User Content").

4.2 By submitting content, you grant K-Easy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, reproduce, distribute, display, and adapt your content within the Services to operate, promote, or improve the platform.

4.3 K-Easy may display portions or previews of your content (e.g., snippets, thumbnails) with proper attribution.

4.4 You represent that you have the lawful right to post such content and that doing so does not infringe any third-party rights.

4.5 We reserve the right to remove content alleged to violate law or these Terms and to terminate repeat infringers.

6. Payments, Memberships, and Subscriptions

6.1 Certain features (e.g., memberships, ads, product purchases) may require payment.

6.2 Payments are processed securely via Toss Payments or other licensed processors. K-Easy does not store credit-card information.

6.3 Fees and refund rules follow our Payment & Refund Policy.

6.4 By submitting payment information, you authorize us (and our payment partners) to charge the applicable amounts.

6.6 You are responsible for applicable taxes, including VAT where required by Korean law.

8. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless K-Easy, Montem Flumen Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms or law
• Your content or conduct
• Your use of third-party links or services via K-Easy

We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification.

9. Disclaimers – Service Provided "As Is"

We do not warrant that:

• The Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Information or listings are accurate or reliable
• External group interactions (e.g., KakaoTalk/WhatsApp) are safe or verified

10. Limitation of Liability

Except where prohibited by law, K-Easy and Montem Flumen Inc. (including affiliates and staff) are not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or reputation
• Third-party fraud, misuse, or transactions outside our control
• Content or conduct of other users

11. Resolving Disputes; Binding Arbitration

We aim to resolve concerns quickly and fairly.

Informal Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, email legal@koreaeasy.org with:

• Your full name, address, phone, and account email
• A detailed description of the dispute
• The relief sought

If the matter remains unresolved after 90 days, either party may initiate arbitration.

Arbitration Agreement

You and K-Easy agree to resolve disputes through confidential, binding arbitration before one neutral arbitrator under the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB) or, by mutual consent, the JAMS Rules.

• Arbitration will be held in Daejeon or Seoul, in English or Korean
• You may elect a remote session if you reside outside Korea
• Each party bears its own attorney fees unless the arbitrator awards otherwise
• No class or representative actions. Claims must be filed within one year of arising

12. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, excluding conflict-of-law principles.

Unless arbitration applies, all disputes shall be heard exclusively in the District Court of Daejeon, Republic of Korea.

13. Amendments

We may modify these Terms at any time. If material changes occur, we'll notify you (e.g., banner notice or email).

Unless stated otherwise, updated Terms are effective upon posting. Your continued use of the Services after changes means acceptance. If you disagree, discontinue use.

15. Miscellaneous

• keasy's failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of rights
• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and K-Easy regarding the Services
• Headings are for convenience only
• "Including" means "including without limitation"
• These Terms do not create third-party beneficiary rights
• You consent to electronic communications and records
